The XTS-Impact can be used as a standalone anchor for one user or incorporated into the XTS linked system to form a horizontal lifeline system that will hold up to four users simultaneously.

When more than one anchor is needed, a horizontal XTS lifeline can be created using the XTS-Impact and multiple components that form the XTS Horizontal XTS Lifeline System. The main components for an XTS-Linked system are the XTS-Impact anchorage points, XTS-cable, XTS Stainless pass through tops and the XTS-Slider to move along the system freely. Horizontal Lifeline System highlights include:
- Anchors can be spaced every 40 – 55 feet
- System is designed for two workers in fall arrest and four workers in fall restraint
- Pass through capability, allowing complete transverse of the system around corners without detachment
